Banner Year for ASATI- More Than 2,000,000 Square Feet Built |
|
ASATI has just closed out a banner year that
included the largest-ever-awarded contract let out to the air
structure industry. In fulfillment of the order that
called for the design and manufacture of 64 recreational
facilities within the Russian Federation,
and additional industrial facilities for GasProm in Siberia,
ASATI built structures that total more than 2,000,000 square
feet of covered floor space.
The contact required ASATI to manufacture all 64 structures,
averaging 30,000 sq. ft. in size, in the short span of just six
months. All 64 of
these structures were built, right here, in the United States of
America and
are engineered to meet 50 lb. snow loads, 150 MPH winds and
-60*F temperatures.
Because of the success of the ASATI air structures, the Russian Federation has thus adopted the ASATI
Cable-Net dome as the standard for all future private,
commercial and government air supported facilities.
ASATI is again pioneering the air structure
industry, this time in the management, manufacturing prowess
and "Team ASATI" commitment needed to successfully complete
these projects. We are proud to spread this great news with
all of our valued customers and the rest of our air structure
friends. We thank all of you who stand behind ASATI; it is
your support coupled with the "Team ASATI" commitment that make
these achievements possible. ASATI is proud to be a
"can-do" company and we truly look forward to continuing to
pioneer air structure innovation in 2008, as we have done for
more than forty five years.

equipped with two additional back-up blowers and a back-up power
generator to insure that no mechanical failure or power outage
will cause the dome to deflate. The dome is the 129,600 sq. ft

Dolphins NFL Training Facility |
|
The Miami Dolphins NFL Training
Facility was built with ample room around the perimeter for
coaching staff, spectators and equipment. Because ASATI's
patented cable net system allows our air structures to be built
to virtually any size, athletes are afforded the ability to play
and train in a structure that mimics outdoor playing conditions;
the structure's size ensures that no building obstacles effect
the play of the game and ASATI's translucent fabric allows the
entry of up to 1200 foot candles of natural daylight.
During nighttime hours, the DAFT Hanglite lighting system, which
is suspended from the ASATI air structure, allows players and
coaches to train in natural lighting conditions that have since
been difficult to achieve with traditional pole lighting
systems. |
